Blitz Home Hero Promotion - Full Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

  1. The Promoter and data controller: This promotion is operated by Sofidel UK LTD, Briton Ferry Industrial Estate, Neath, SA11 2FP.

  2. Eligibility: The promotion is open to residents in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) and Republic of Ireland, aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter and its holding companies and subsidiaries and their immediate families; its agents and suppliers and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

  3. Promotional Period: Opens 00:00:01 BST on 15th September 2022 and closes 23:59:59 BST inclusive on 31st December 2022. Any entries received before or after this time will not be included in the promotion.

  4. Internet access and registration required.

  5. Purchase of promotional pack necessary and there is no charge to access or enter on the website.

  6. Entry is restricted to one entry per person, per purchase. For the avoidance of doubt, a winner can win multiple online instant win prizes and the grand prize.

  7. Entry Instructions: To participate, entrants must buy a promotional 2R or 3R pack of Blitz in store during the Promotional Period, then also during the Promotional Period visit www.blitzwin.regina.uk.com, select whether they are a resident of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland, enter the unique code found inside the pack, as well as their full name, email address, address (United Kingdom entrants only), accept the terms and conditions and submit their entry to find out instantly if they have won a prize. For every entry submitted, an entry will also be made into the grand prize draw.

  8. Each promotional code is unique and can only be used once. Any attempts to enter the same code more than once, use codes from non-promotional packs, or the use of any codes not intended for use in this promotion, may result in disqualification and all such claims will be declared void.

  9. Proof of sending or transmission will not be accepted as proof of delivery.

  10. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void.

  11. Online Instant Win prizes: If a participant instantly wins a prize online, they will be presented with a winning message on screen (as well as sent an email) with details of the prize they have won immediately after their entry. All physical online instant win prizes will be sent to the winners within 28 days of winner notification using a tracked courier. Voucher prizes will be sent as an e-code via email to the email address provided on entry. During the Promotional Period, prizes have been randomly allocated and linked to ‘winning moments’ that have been randomly pre-selected by a secure, independently verified computer programme. There is a total of 357 winning moments available to participants entering from the United Kingdom and 30 winning moments available to participants entering from the Republic of Ireland. If no entry is received between one winning moment and the next, the prize from that winning moment will be rolled over into the next winning moment and be available to be won then. Total estimated number of promotional packs 1.5 million . No guarantee all prizes will be won.

  12. Grand Prize Draw Winner Selection: 1 winner and 3 reserves will be selected from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period from participants resident in the United Kingdom and 1 winner and 3 reserves will be selected from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period from residents in the Republic of Ireland on the 4th January 2023. The draw will be carried out by a randomly verified electronic automated process.

Winner Notification: The grand prize winners will be notified by email to the email addresses provided on entry within 3 working days of the draw date. The winners will have 14 days to accept their prize by confirming in writing in response to the winner notification email they receive [ including their delivery address. In the case that they do not respond in time to first contact, reject the prize or are ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to the next eligible entrant selected at random from the valid entries that were received. If, for either of the two grand prizes, the initial winner and 3 reserves are ineligible or do not respond to communications within the stated timeframe the Promoter is entitled to withdraw that grand prize and stop approaching reserves

  1. Once the winner has accepted the grand prize within 14 days, provided their delivery address and completed any verification process, the prizes will be sent to the winners within 28 days. The grand prize will be sent to the UK grand prize winner using a tracked courier and to the Republic of Ireland grand prize winner by email.

  2. It is the responsibility of the participant to check their email account to ensure they are in receipt of their winner notification. The Promoter is not responsible for an entrant making a late claim on their win if this email is missed or not read/or responded to for any reason.

  3. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding the selection of winners.

  1. No cash or other alternative prize will be provided, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize or part of a prize of equal or greater value. The prizes are non-transferable.

  2. If delivery will be delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and resulting Government restrictions, all winners affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes and revised delivery dates.

  3. All images are for illustrative purposes only.

  4. General: The Promoter will make available the grand prize winners’ surnames and counties of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting care@life-at-home.com or in response to the email advising of their win. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the grand prize winners’ details by emailing care@life-at-home.com with such email to arrive between 16th January 2023 and 16th March 2023 with “Regina Blitz Home Hero Winners” in the subject box of the email. We reserve the right to refuse any or all such requests.

  5. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and on acceptance of their prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

  6. Your personal details will only be used for the purposes of administering this promotion and for no other purposes unless you have opted in to receiving future marketing mailings from the Promoter. You acknowledge that the Promoter may pass such information to its third-party agency, solely for the purposes of administering the promotion. This includes The NDL Group Ltd whose privacy policy is https://www.ndlgroup.com/privacy-policy. All data will be used in accordance with current Data Protection legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which is available on the Website https://www.sofidel.com/en/privacy-policy/. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to gdpr.holding@sofidel.com. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described in these terms and conditions. All data obtained will be deleted by 28th February 2023.

  7. Those who try and circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

  8. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. This does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.

  9. Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for lost, late, damaged, corrupted, or misdirected entries or claims and the Promoter is not responsible for any late, incomplete, or misdirected delivery of communications (email or otherwise), except in the event of wilful intent on the part of the Promoter or its agents.

  10. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these Terms and Conditions , at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

  11. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware, or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay, or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.

  12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners including, but not limited to, asking for proof of address and ID (passport or driving licence) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.

  13. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

  14. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless you live in another part of the United Kingdom, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
